Whether you’re supporting operations at our Mother and Child Health Promotion Centers, participating in field-based research, contributing to awareness and outreach campaigns, or engaging in mental health and psychosocial support, PAHCHAAN LEAD offers real-world exposure and hands-on learning.
The program also includes Educational Visits, which involve workshops, seminars, and interactive talks conducted by or for schools, colleges, and universities — creating opportunities for dialogue, learning, and advocacy around child protection and family well-being.

Voice for Children’s Aspiration and Needs (VCAN)
What began as a university initiative in 2017 by the Child Rights Department at University of Lahore has grown into VCAN Pakistan — a PAHCHAAN youth group, amplifying voices for child protection and rights. With roots in seminars and school visits, and inspiration drawn from real-life encounters with vulnerable children, VCAN now leads awareness campaigns, trainings, and community outreach in collaboration with UNICEF and other partner universities. Active across 10 districts of Punjab and internationally, our youth volunteers empower children through education, safety awareness, and support, striving for a world where every child can dream freely, live safely, and grow without fear.
