Nurturing Hub & Mental Health
Empowering families through healing, parenting, and emotional resilience.
Mental health is vital to child well-being — yet often overlooked. PAHCHAAN’s Nurturing Hub provides a unique model for community-based mental health care, led by a team of psychologists, paediatricians, educators, and social workers. We focus on both individual support and systemic awareness.
Key Components:
- Child & Family Mental Health Counselling: One-on-one and group therapy for trauma, stress, and abuse recovery.
- Positive Parenting Program: PAHCHAAN’s parenting program is one of the only structured parenting models in Pakistan, designed according to WHO nurturing care framework, builds healthy, nourishing, nurturing, responsive caregiving and fostering stimulative learning.
- School-Based Interventions: Programs on bullying prevention, positive discipline, and mental well-being for children and educators.
- Training & Capacity Building: Delivered across more than 20 districts of Punjab for government officials, teachers, parents, and alternate caregivers.
Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEAH): Integrated training within our mental health and safeguarding outreach.
